Need Advice RE Act 4 [Major Spoilers]

So, I’ve gotten to the part of the game where Siffrin knows Wish Craft is real (ie read the journal) and is doing more research. I got him to read the book in Storage Room on the first floor, the one with the openphrase, but he says that it’s too technical for him and that perhaps he should look at something related to the King first. I’m not sure what that means, so if anyone could offer some guidance I would greatly appreciate it.

Keep going through the house. I think you have to interact with either the Observatory on the 3rd floor (use the Crest on the wrong set of tears to get to this dead in), or read some books in the room on Floor 3 (in the same corridor as the Body Crafting Room and Mirabelle's Room. The one with a locked door at the end with text you can't read above).

I tried both of those places, but I still get the same message. Do I need to talk with Loop first?

EDIT: Yep, had to talk to Loop first. Gonna be honest, very annoying design choice. :/

I just finished this game and overall I really liked it, but I agree that there were a few parts that weren't intuitive. Especially when you need to talk to Loop in person, instead of just calling them.

YES! I also just finished the game, and that is also my exact same issue! Especially since the game literally gave you a magic phone to call them! That, was not great.

This didn't work for me, The game just tells me that siffrin doesn't want to read the book in the room with the locked door, is there a specific question I need to ask loop
