- if you die and warp BACK you lose all you got
- if you die and warp FORWARD you keep souvenirs you have in this run but don't keep usable items
So if you die in village and spawn at final level - you will only keep Silver coin
If you die on floor 2 softlock and spawn at the floor 2 end - you will keep everything that you got during softlock run
Something like that
My question now is if the items and the LVLs are tracked seperately. Say I manage to gather more healing items during floor 1, and make a save without fighting as many monsters as the first run with less healing items.
Does the new save have both the increased amount of healing items from the second, as well as the higher LVLs from the first run?
EDIT: So I tried advancing forward from the Floor 1 save to the unlocked Floor 1 save, and had Isabeau back at LVL 46, and from what I could see the amount of items I had when I finished the floor.
The things is, all loose items you can find in the rooms had respawned. Can you theoretically keep accumulating healing items (at the cost of 5 battle memories per loop)?
Yep!! ive now beaten the game, and i can confirm this is possible!
