Visually impaired, need help making text bigger

Hi! I’m playing through this game with a friend and really like it, but my windows zoom settings don’t seem to be working with the game. Even when in full screen, the game itself is really small. Does anyone know how to make the game a bit bigger so I can read the text properly? Thank you! :D

I've not found any way besides making the game full screen in the options menu. So it seems like there isn't a way to make the game bigger without black borders and stretching visuals the game a bit. Hopefully its just something I've missed or the devs will add some accessibility features regarding text.

I wish I could post a photo, but the black borders are HUGE even when I go into fullscreen mode. The actual game area is about as big as a cellphone screen for some reason, I’m not sure if it was intended to be that small or if it’s a bug. For somebody who’s blind, it’s a bit of a problem, Windows zoom settings won’t cooperate with the game either :’(

I need to point out that the text in this game is HORRIBLE. White text on a black background is terrible for anyone with visual impediments to begin with and then you add in the font where all the letters have different kerning so they create that wave effect that gives people migraines. Really not appreciated. Would love for people to stop making white text in text heavy games and to provide options for text size and fonts. You know, if folks would like people to be able to read the dialogue in their text only games.

If you`re visually impaired then I assume you have your display scale set petty high, for some reason this game gets smaller the higher your screen scale, though even at 100% scale the game is still very small for me so I don`t know how much this will help.

I come a year later but maybe it will help someone else. If you remove/rename the following file it will revert the font used in the game by one that's much easier to read:

Gamefolder/www/fonts/VCR_OSD_MONO_1.001.ttf

As a trade-off, the first two letters will sometimes overlap, but that's still a million times easier to read, at least for me.
