still far behind is 3.
only decent thing is the graphics got to say.
False.
CoH3 is superior to CoH2 already.
CoH2 just have more content (5 nations, more maps)
I grew up on console so things don't need to be perfect, just want to have fun.
The author of the Cheat Commands mod created one for Company of Heroes 3 as well, so if I were to buy the game I can definitely play how I want.
Just worried about wasting my money on a game I won't enjoy. It's heavily discounted, so I MIGHT pick it up.. Just want to hear some other singleplayer-focused player testimonies. :)
Well, if You like skirmish in previous CoH2 or CoH1, You would like CoH3, it is same gameplay formula, just adjusted and bit improved. Just watch random Youtube video with CoH3 skirmish game.
The Active Pause works in CoH1 and CoH2 skirmish,
CoH3 extended this feature, You can set multiple commands
This is official video for demonstration

for Vanilla Single Player Campaign---> Maybe
for Modding skirmish/MP---> YES
Spearhead 3 & RGT gamemode (Realism Game Tuner: AI, Units, Vehicles, Gamemodes)
The Combination of these two provide a blast of an experience; I already have over 700 hours into CoH 3 AI gameplay---> so YES ;)
Sadly not as many maps as CoH 1 or 2 / this will take time.
Skins---> please Relic, do what Dota 2 does and provide an incentive for community creations.
I can give the settings I use to anyone interested for the RGT Mode to properly match the Spearhead 3 Mod. The settings I use for provide a ton of fun for MP games as well.
IMO and with My Viewpoint / You are both wrong.
CoH 3 has the Potential to be Better than CoH 2.
e.g.-----> Spearhead 3 mod & Realism Game Tuner
CoH 2 Vanilla and QoL still better than CoH 3 atm; will take time to catch up.
CoH 3 does have some cool new stuff like the no swearing option, the Units Icon Appearance (I love using Selected & Damaged.)
CoH 3 Vanilla is a spammy mess w/ Inferior CoH Mechanics atm.....
e.g.---> Paper Housing that can be destroyed with a spray cans. You're better off outside of buildings in heavy cover, it's a joke.
e.g.---> CoH 3 Suppression is mind numbing & lame, requiring more micro management constantly clicking back and forth between infantry squads.
e.g.---> Light Vehicles to the Rescue ( most recent patch addressed this Issue supposedly, feel free to check with Vanilla fans, some are already crying because they can't spam the "Superman Cheap Light Vehicles anymore.)
e.g.---> Faster Matches that feel even more spammy
I can understand both sides, but with CoH 3 the skirmish and MP matches can be over very quickly (about 20-25 mins) compared to the CoH 2 (most of the time more like 45 mins to an hour) game length experience.
The "Spearhead 3" & "RGT gamemode" Combination fixes all of the Issues I've stated above for me, which is why I have over 700 hours in CoH 3 already; lots of fun because of the fantastic job these Gents are doing.
To each their own, but the Keyword (In my humble opinion): Potential
