Italian Campaign end ?

I finally played the Italy campaign. I felt like I had conquered 2/3 of the map then I broke through the winter line at one point. and then the campaign was suddenly over in the middle? is this correct or is this a bug? I thought before that you have to take everything and march to Rome. shouldn't be a bug but well, I think it's a big mess. feels like a shareware demo from the 2000s.

I had the same experience just now with the campagin after breaking the winter line. I have a feeling it is not a glitch and the way the campaign ends. If this is true, then the campaign has the worst ending. It would have been awsome to have a massive end battle in the streets of Rome with tanks & artillery covering infantry moving into Rome. I guess I have to play the german campaign now and hope for a better ending.

Try reading the history about the battle in the streets of Rome during WWII. That may be a guide clearing up how the COH 3 Campaign ends? Yes the campaign ending is a bit lack luster yet it is true to history??? Yes/no... Perhaps the addition of one's play through stats would make the end more interesting and give one a reason to play Italy again to improve same... Like a summation of all battles during the campaign open for review upon completion. Or maybe drop a skin or two for completing campaign? In any case, do not think a grand battle where a grand battle never took place would be appropriate... Play it again Sam? On my third plus play though now and still enjoy it... As I do not play multiplayer and the single player skirmishes get stale faster than the campaign.
