Keyboard stops working

Noticed after the latest patch the keyboard will stop working for about 5 secs during a match. It happened to me 5 time in the last 3 games. The mouse will be able to scroll and select units, but the keyboard will stop scrolling or any of key have a input. I did manage to turn on and off the caps lock and also number lock to check if maybe it was loosing power or something, but they keyboard was registering the cap locks and number locks input. Any insight? Is it a bug? I've switched out keyboards and also switched usb port and it still happens.

I always figured it was because I use a wireless keyboard. I've always had this experience with Company of Heroes games. Example, I'd go to select a squad and push 'R' and my unit doesn't respond. So I push it again and again and again and nothing. Then I get mad and slam my keyboard a couple times THEN they retreat while I go scrambling to the floor looking for my batteries.
