Best Tactics For Afrika Corps?
When playing as the Afrika Corps I find myself in more of a support or defensive role. PzIII's can't really compete with the late Allied tanks so I tend to build and move Flak 88s to hot spots around the map along with MGs and infantry to protect them, then usually some Panzerwerfers to add additional support.

The problem is if the teammates aren't doing well then usually this leaves a gap open in the map and the team lacking offensive capability. What do you usually do when playing this faction?

You really should be playing very aggressive.
Going for opponent fuel is priority to getting yours.
DAK can do when fuel income is low, but it completely throws allies off if you cut theirs, giving you massive edge.

I'm putting pressure using pair of 250s upgraded depending on situation and later on marders and StuGs.

If you need to go tanks, it means the game dragged far too long and period where you had advantage ended as both, brits and US have better late game then DAK with much better mp economies.

If you see a DAK player camping or units stationary it is a noob. Simply as that.

On a deeper level the P3 CAN FULLY combat heavier tanks if you take the appropriate Battlegroup with penetration bonus.

Aside from that you need to asist p3 with Marder. Or a 88. But using 88 is rather difficult. You need to move it always. Camping with 88 = noob waiting for arty.

Marder snipe tanks kill all allied tanks. I had 4 and 2 flammpanzers and nobody got trough. Them Marders with the pen upgrade snipe all the eisy eights from morning to evening any time any place

I usually dont get more than 2 pgrens, though i've seen some use 3 of them or bersa. YOu have to be very careful with your losses since manpower is always a problem, and USF and brit infantry will usually outnumber and outperform your unless you have all the buffs, and even then... Some of the saving graces are the flaktrack, the 8rad puma and marder. The stug can shine depending on map and moments. So usually you'll want 8rad+marder possibly with stug, or you go flaktrack and then for pz3/flak. Remember that allies will usually have a light tank when you push out the 8 rad or flatrack
Defend key points with Marder spam. Cheap and plentiful with a population cap of only 8. Place several together and get all the tech upgrades. I dont even build P3 building anymore, so that saves a chunk of fuel for even more marder spam. When teched and several together, they SHRED tanks. Just protect them with MG/Flak, or whirly, as they are weak against inf.
