The new Fire & Steel content package will be sold through the Steam store towards the end of February, with a specific release date coming soon.
Mang, not often i get a game where i can play some good hours on. Let me enjoy my cheap dlc.
As the poster above says, it's about as much as buying takeout.
If this is too much of a financial burden, I'd probably sort out your financial situation first before you go complaining on a forum about a legitimate product.
But yes, the fancy edition never said it came with all dlc forever or anything like that. Just the first one.
If you think the DLC is too expansive (like me) than wait and save for a sale...
In where I'm in, coffee and bread can go as low as 1$ in convenient store, and 3$ for freshly made ones. Wage per day can go as low as 1$ an hour, however.
What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bakery are you pair going to? Is it owned by some 5* Michellen Chef? The sheer idea that "This is less than a takeout" is actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deranged and one I absolutely refute (Especially for "Just a coffee and a Sandwich").
$25 is way too much, whether you wish to admit it or not. Let's look at TW:WH3 which has it's DLC in 3 waves. Each time now it's 3 DLCs for £7.49ea and (for a total of £22.47) I get 3 new lords with brand new campaign mechanics, a handful of actually new and interesting units and they throw in FLC alongside it. For the same price a game which could be argued is "Bigger and more expansive" has way more bang for your buck in DLC.
Actively ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on people complaining about the price of DLC to run defense for a company pushing the prices above what they should ($25 is often more than some games make you pay for a DLC which is an entire game overhaul or, for most RTS games, are DLCs centered around entire new factions and units) is the problem. I do love the tanks being added but I am not buying this DLC until it goes on sale to a price which is way more reasonable ($10).
Also no, I'm not going to listen to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "UH WELL ITS A BIG STUDIO AND THE DEVS NEED MONEY FOR FOOD *pleading eyes*", this is almost always a push from the execs who want more money from the players who're willing to cough up money with the devs still being nickel and dimed for their work.
Had two of my posts removed the moment I put them up, I see you earned that "award" :)
It further does not mean it will give you the edge over your opponents and in some cases your better off staying with the original battle-groups'. We further understand from COH2 that when the releases come into being, they are never fully tested and some over perform. Then they start to apply patches and degrade their abilities in the game. That in turn means disappointment in the DLC packages. Its all old hat in real terms.
It the expectation of what is to come is the Hype for some, but for me it is a game with flaws. It may come to pass that the merits may be allowed in the purchase of the groups, however that remains to be seen as we have no concrete insight into these and the new patch coming up.
