As soon as i saw the beta screenshots, the terribly cheap UI design gave away the fact that the game would be soulles and bare bones. I was right.
I mean what about AoE4? Is it left to die? It only got like 1-2 patch with 1 new building and with colour selection after like a half year absence.
Focusing back on AoE4 after Coh3 launch sounds not very likely.
+1
Would have been nice to get those people as customers too.
But even in college should you learn like basics of economy?
The way it goes, it does not only decrease value of AoE4,
but also decrease potential customers who own AoE4.
The cheapness of the UI and lack of art design really let down AOE4 in my opinion. It has no soul and is no longer a work of art.
I'm afraid that CoH3 will follow the same route. Hype at the beginning, technical issues, lack of content, delayed DLCs, disappointment, fall of playerbase. Relic is a shadow of former self now. I do not expect miracles.
This is why you never "put a cart in front of the horse". Make a great game first. Improve it. Expand it's playerbase. And if you succeed - only then you should think about competitive aspects. Because if nobody plays your game - nobody needs your cybersport either. They create a game for audience which simply does not exist at this moment of time.
how is it "rushing" when you are asking for stuff that was never in any previous CoH game?
It is like the Devs only listen to the content creators because they have thousands of followers. But the content creators don't even listen to their subs. It is crazy. Ya'll need to stop supporting these content creators until they start listening to you and advocating for what you want to see in a game. Until then, the Devs will only listen to the people they are paying to hype and advertise their games. Which begs the question, do the Devs really listen to the content creators, or are they simply paying them off to hype their games, and any requests for changes that actually do appear in the game are coincidental to the player's wishes?
