Dawn of War 3 was literally the last thing they developed on their own. To my understanding they were on a very tight leash for age of empires 4, plus there was another studio involved there. Despite it being 6 years later from DOW3, they've obviously learned nothing, and the attitude of the studio is the same. They don't care, they're going to push this out, and then they're going to go "oh this sold poorly, so I guess no one likes company of heroes anymore"
This studio expects that they can churn out garbage but people will buy it because of the name on the tin.
The gouache painting aesthetic was a giant misstep though. And the comparison in the video is damning.
It´s not as terrible as dow 3, but lets be honest dow3 was a whole new level of disapointment.
I dont get how the company that made coh1 and dow1 could fail so horribly.
It´s like looking forward to a new mercedes-benz and getting a dacia
Lmao in what way is this game "console garbage", because the tanks look new when they're freshly built and they used realistic sounds? The gameplay is significantly better than 1 and 2.
