You are 100% the issue with games being ♥♥♥♥ on that are otherwise good. Bad review bc denuvo ? Maybe do research and see Sega uses it a lot. What a chump.
Most other bugs people attribute to it may or may not be it fault. It's hard to prove because we rarely get to play the same version without it as when it does have it. MHW is one of the fiew semi modern games that such a version match can be found and it was a rather stable game to begin with. Denuvo denies it even uses any resources at all. That untrue by it very nature. So their claims that it can't cause bugs makes me skeptical. However. I don't think any of the issues this game as is from Denuvo. TBH I purchased this game a few hours ago for a reason.
Issue with privacy is already hard to say if it true or not. No one knows what info it collects and what it sends. Could be almost nothing. Or it could be way more then it needed.
Then there's the issue of some parts of it (may or may not be active but usually is) requires a online connection to play single player offline.
Oh almost forgot the limited hardware swap or install count, Denuvo limits how many times you can swap hardware parts out of your computer or how many machines you can install it on before completely locking you out of a game you paid for. It not a "You can only run it on one machine at a time" kind of limit. More like. You upgrade your computer too often or swap between laptop/steamdeck/PC and did a few upgrade kind of f*** Y**.
Game developers rarely remove denuvo even when the game is cracked. This means that eventually you'll run into the issue where you'll lose your access to it for the above reason or B, you'll lose access to your game if their server ever goes down.

Service kills piracy. Netflix reduced piracy by nearly 50% when it had a monopoly because it was a convenient one stop shop for videos. When all the other companies propped up making their content exclusive forcing people to sign up to 30 different services it surged back up.
CD projekt made poland go from a country where piracy was the norm to one where most people buy their software by simply providing a superior service.
Steam did the same to russia, and is likely the driving force behind the global PC game piracy rate dropping. easy install one stop shop for just about any game. Mods at the fingertip. It remembers your old mods for you. It saves your saves. Easy to find forums without having to make new accounts, easy access to the DLC or w/e. How can pirates compete with that as long as the prices are fair and people can afford them?
I am not reading all that but I can assure you all will be fine. You are overreacting bud. Don't play it then.
No, COH 2 runs like crap because its 32bit. Even the 64bit update ran like crap bc it was an old engine.
Denuvo may or may not spy on you. Denuvo limits how many times you can swap your computer parts or how many machines you can install the game on before it stops working. Denuvo usually requires a online connection to play. Denuvo usually makes loading times longer and introduces stutters on high end machines and lowers framerate by 1-5% while on lower end machines it tends to be significantly worse.
Denuvo may or may not cause other bugs. Even when the game is pirated so people can play it for free; denuvo is usually left in the purchased version. So when you do run through your limited hardware setup or if their servers ever go down or shut down you can't play anymore despite the fact you purchased the game.
EDIT: BY stutter I mean a drop in framecount for a small period of time. a spike.
Denuvo = no sale from me, see you in a year boys.
