Use them.
artillery deal very less damage against bunker expect you hit every shot.
satchel charges is too late if opponent already build a lot of bunker. for me double AT is better to counter emplacment spam.
Anything that can shoot should have a popcap.
bunker should use around 3-5 popcap.
He used a combination of artillery officer and designate artillery strike (or whatever that 90 muni ability is called) and it made any push with vehicles and artillery pointless.
Then he built some Obices and attacked our HQs, it was slow, painful, but in the end he couldn't be broken and built up an insane amount of structures all across the map while his team mates kept the other 2 of us busy.
I tried countering the build up with a mortar pit and M8 Scotts, but he kept pushing me back, destroyed the mortar pit and then I lost the Scotts which sealed our team's fate. There was some back and forth but it was a city setting, he had lots of natural cover for his coastals and pressured me with Jaegers.
This is a very strong BG in team games. If not a pop cap, at least set a hard limit on how many you can build, maybe create a button that even lets you deconstruct a bunker to build it elsewhere.
Being able to crank out cheap fortifications is too strong. One thing's for sure - when I play Wehr in team games from now on, I'm going to try and utilize the same strategy that destroyed me, it seems to be very powerful.
The problem is most of you 3v3/4v4 players are simcity lovers. you always try to camp and wait for big tanks. Thats why your opponent spam this ♥♥♥♥. Always try to push, do not sit at one place. dont let your opponent to spam bunkers. If still somehow opponent spam bunkers, you should focus on mortars and fast vehicle deployment.
Try to build counters and stop playing Simcity
Mortars are never a counter to bunkers. They simply don't work. Bunker repair is faster and cheaper. You'll lose all territory before you can destroy even one bunker with two mortars. Plus, you can't push because of the artillery overwatch skill. So if you see someone playing with bunkers, go for two anti-tank units as fast as possible. It's better.
The Nebelwerfer will counter any team weapon, so if the enemy successfully spams bunkers, there is no counter.
So noone would be using them anymore because it would be wasting precious pop cap - which you two would obviously be fine with. But then at least have the balls and right away ask for removing them entirely instead of proposing to nerf them into a state of unusability.
Alternatively don't wait until the bunker line is completed and flank them early.
Either stop picking USA, stop playing the game, or stop complaining on here because this argument is as old as COH 1. Uninstall, and just move on.
Oh you picked Brits? Same problem, just in a a different way. You have a mortar I guess, and tommies that can fight well behind cover. Ok great, but you still have to push and get sniped by snipers.
Once again, uninstall, change factions to Wher, or stop complaining because people on here will not agree or change their mind in any way.
if you spend mostly resources into arty or indirect fire units. how would you able to control a map? nebelwafer will be the hard counter for indirect fire build. then you will lose because of VP or enemy pushing their force and you have nothing to hold.
If the bunker spam annoys you maybe you should make 1 mortar early game and make sure you don’t let them breathe enough to make a camping zone
