Campaign always crashing on load screen

The game always crashes after a campaign mission completes. As soon as I blow up the bridges in Salerno, the cutscene plays, the game goes into loading, and I crash with that stupid bugsplat reporting pop-up. I've reinstalled, had steam check my files, updated my video card drivers, tried restarting the campaign, picking different starting companies. Nothing works.

What infuriates me is that this worked on release. I played the whole campaign and finished it. Now it doesn't work. It happens on both campaigns, and after every online coop game I play.

There's also a missing string in that first mission (when it tries to tell you to select the engineer and use the satchel on the bridges).

Does anyone know how to fix this at all?

Same issue here, i just never get back to the map. "Hit any key to continue", and then the game locks itself up, but oddly enough my mouse cursor can still move about. Otherwise, no changes.

Same here. Unplayable my campaign now. So sad. checked log. It seems the game can't restore my campaign after the victory.
