I constantly use it. But not in 1v1.
Usually I make heavy use of the pioneers, to build stuff and lock off the enemy.
Or for assaults, using ground units and paras at the same time, usually this stresses the enemy and makes them quit or fall back.
Mechanized doesn't work with my playstyle>panther is ♥♥♥♥ (T3 vehicles penetrate it easily) its just waste of resources. Tiger tank is another waste of resource. So only luftwaffe is useful as you can counter tank spam with Skill plane. And this game is about vehicle blobs. Keep blobbing until superior blob wins :D
- FPio to take a flanks victory point and start back capping
- MG42 followed by a second FPio.
- Kettenkrad for map control and by that time there should be enough resources for the Luft. building
- 2 to 3 Jagers for Shreks to counter early vehicle spam. Upgrade and get a Wirbelwind. If you don't get a Wirbelwind as fast as possible you lose the game because Wehr has NOTHING else to contend with Allies.
- Start investing into Marders to help with AT and try for a 2nd Wirbelwind.
Other than what I described can all boil down to what else you want to invest in afterwards. I don't tend to bother with the strafe run unless it will help me with my first couple engagements. Saving the CP until it's needed for the strafe or just B lining to the reduced infantry reinforcement passive.
The mobile AT squads you can drop are ok, but they don't do as much AT damage as other units. They can retreat and camo so that's a perk.
