This has been my experience lately…was hoping relic might consider dropping the cp cost to three, I think that would give it the right timing
That depends entirely on what is going on.
Flametanks are superb at countering team weapons, be they HMG's tying up your infantry, Mortars blowing your infantry to bits or even AT guns, just be sure to not sit in its line of fire.
Used correctly, or luckily, they can really turn the tide of an engagement.
Thank you! How do you out maneuver the zooks with em?
Somewhat tricky tbh. The zooks only use is the fact that they are mobile, which is why one of their vet abilities is increased speed.
You shouldn't be pushing a tank into the enemy on its own anyway, so hopefully whatever you are using as backup can help handle/deter the flametank.
Just bear in mind that the flame tank in this scenario offers far more value than a squad or 2 of zooks.
If you see a zook squad, focus fire on it. They should die quickly depending on what you are using.
Don't forget that if you are using a tank, make sure you are facing the damage. Tanks take more damage from the side and rear, so a good zook player will be trying to get around the side of you.
Probably to enable the opposition to actually counter it, rather then get their entire army pushed into a retreat.
