Personally would have renamed DAK to Italians. They can have some German call ins while Wermacht could get a speedy Panzer 2 so it is more recognizable instead of repeating the same factions from COH1 and 2
Alas, much like AOE4 variant civs (1 named after a historical figure, 1 after a 'philosophy', 1 after a chivalric order and 1 after another dynasty the only thematically fitting one) they chose to apply historical authenticity erraticall, mixing and matching units for 'gameplay', this is unlikely to change
The Chaffee, Black Prince, Centaur IV and Easy Eight already throw this argument out and you should stop repeating nonsense

i know everyone wants japan and italy as seperate factions but lets be honest here its far easier and lazier to just rehash units from COH 2 into COH 3 and call it an expansion

CoH2 focuses all too much on T4 rush and end game slug.
CoH1 and CoH3 put high emphasis on mid-game with late game being there only if players are equally matched.
great meme vehicle, more of comedic value though.
But they are not gonna spend money to develop for a 1k active player game.
