How do you heal Indian Artillery?
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but I can't find any mention of it.

How the heck do you heal the Indian Artillery unit? The poor thing is almost dead.

Seems like placing it in a town with a red cross doesn't do anything. Unlike infantry, it can't heal itself.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If I recall right, companies should have a Repair ability which can be used to restore the HP of "armored" companies (of which Indian Artillery is one). There's a similar ability that does the same for infantry-type companies

Im not sure i have understood the question, but the Indian Mortar can be healed by the truck that brought it in if its upgraded to the medical option. But that seems too obvious an answer

He prob means the bug the developers introduced when making the team weapons and emplacement not be at 100% health when decrewed, what happens is you cannot repair them and if you put a mg on a house it prob will get "destroyed" faster so the remaining models run outside the map and you lose the mg, same thing happens on open ground.

Broken alpha game not even the mods know whats going on.

Engineer can fix some damaged weapons at least when un-crewed?

I'm talking about the army on the map of Italy, not a unit in a battle. The unit is called "Indian Artillery".

It has a "heal" button, but if you click it, it tells you something about how infantry needs to be nearby. My infantry can heal itself, but this mechanized unit cannot.

There is both a "Heal" and a "Repair" option which cost Manpower to use. Companies that are mechanized in nature, like the Indian Artillery, need the Repair option. Been a while since I played the campaign, but pretty sure all companies could do both.

Oh good grief. Not sure how I could have possibly missed that.

Thanks!
