It was in COH2, what are you talking about? lol!!!!
COH3 is a casualness version of COH1/2. Everything is nerfed from arty T2T, spread and deadliness.
I mean, yes and no.
In CoH2, running over was definitely a thing. That is gone here.
But lol, the time to kill can be merciless in CoH3. I feel like in CoH3, being out of cover is penalized a lot more, and light vehicles are buffed IIRC. A lot of cheap call-in light vehicles on all sides now just chew up infantry to comical extents. The two-tank call in for DAK can get flamethrower upgrades and literally run the opponent right off the map practically if they spam inf.
So, I mean, there are things that got nerfed, sure.
But there's also more tools to deal with blobs than ever, and being out of cover itself seems much more risky than it was in CoH2.
