Company of Heroes 3 24 hour peak: 9,362
Dont waste your daily time by counting players of COH 3, because steam can count is better and faster than you. :)
Player amount ≠ game quality. Thats a opinion based decision.
From my 150+ games on steam and all games since gamecube the ones I play most and regulary are the ones with the most tiny or little community due to life circles of the products.
With other words: If 10.000 ppl think poop smells good, its their opinion. The one who likes fries better isnt wrong in prefering it. Im for the fries guy too, imo he got the better product, no care about the 10.000:1 statistic.
I love CoH1, love CoH3, never was able to enjoy CoH2 even when getting it free from Steam after 10 years or so. Opinions.

I wouldnt call that "hard" to your girlfriend, she might get disappointed of what you got.
I would guess some players are getting through the campaign and is done with the game (not everyone wants to play multiplayer), and some players is waiting for more content and more fixes/balances, and some players go back to COH2 as they cant get a grip of COH3 (just like some players stick to COH1 as they cant get a grip of COH2).
All in all, if the developers keep releasing patches and maps and really support the game, I'm sure we'll get a stable player base by the end of the year.
