No excuses.
RTS is dead. Especially when you lay on these sequels.
The only way to revive this genre is to go back to the drawing board and create a pièce de résistance that nobody could have predicted.
That takes a mountain of talent. And an imagination that many couldn't comprehend.
It would be the equivalent of Shock & Awe in the world of video games.

COH3 is an early release missing many important features and multiplayer maps
Games have their highest peak during european waking hours, not the US. So what hour it is in the US doesnt really matter very much
Each faction only has one battle group that's competitive with the current Meta. USF is airborn, Wehr is Luft, and DAK is combined arms, Brits actually do have some flexibility as their core units are all pretty good.
Matchmaking has me playing against top 50 players one second and complete noobs that can't build or position units the next.
There are like 2 maps for 3V3 or 4V4 which is my preferred mode of play.
So yea same as COH2 I bought it, played it, then put it down for almost a year till the game got fixed. I'll still buy the DLC to support the Devs because I love the COH franchise, it's just a shame this launch is going the exact same way as COH2.
coh3 6210 player in game
coh2 4762 player in game
rip coh3
Depends how hungry you are... I would probably swallow it though.
If i wanted to play COH1 I would have just downloaded it and played. I don't need to pay so much money for a game i already owned.
Like who thought i was a good idea to limit squads to one specific role and nothing else?
Riflemen only have bars and that is it. No more weapon racks to allow versatility. Or if you upgrade a weapon it gives you two maxing yourself out and not allowing you to choose two different kinds.
As i said i am heart broken and I don't see any push back, so i will again have nightmares of Riflemen running into tank fire and trying to get their sticky grenades thrown and then being a meat shield slowing them down for anti-tank gun to role up.
