DO NOT PUT MONEY INTO THE IN GAME STORE
I can forgive balancing and unit glitch issues because their team is still actively working on the game. These issues are temporary so that does not bother me.

The in game store on the other hand is a greedy cash grab. I paid full price for a game that demands more money for me to customize my units with something like a brown camo skin? It is ridiculous and aggravating that this exists. If I would have known about this type of scamming then I would never have bought the game.

Do not put any money into the store. Show this developer that we will not support that type of treatment. The gaming industry will treat us as we allow them to, so by boycotting these types of transactions we tell the companies that they will not make money in this way.

Greed is not good.

Thats selfish though. People like you give companies that scam customers with unfinished crap monetary validation. It`s people like you who are at fault for the AAA gaming industry to be the way it is.

CoH2 has a store and no one complains. I personally don't find the store a problem. The timing of the store's release was a bit awkward, the expression "timing is everything" comes to mind. Still, it's not even one of more the pertinent issues plaguing CoH3. As a huge fan of CoH, I would like CoH3 to be profitable and Relic to be successful. If someone wants to purchase skins because they are neat, what is the issue? I think blaming consumers who purchase cosmetics for the state of the gaming industry is a bit much. I don't buy cosmetics though.

I don't see the issue with spending money in the store, the problem is the prices are too high which will keep me from spending money in the future. I probably spent 200 plus in the store with COH2 and loved what I paid for. I wish they would convert 3's store over to the same model as COH2. I will say they need to get next months patch out before adding anything in the store, game needs those updates first.

That's a big problem with these game companies they prices everything to high to where the average person it's just a turn off like in games these days $20 for a color that a guy spent a few seconds clicking his mouse to make 1/3 of the price if a full price game these companies don't realize if they made that $20 skin $3or$5 the amount of people that would buy it would shoot up exponentially I use to spend hundreds on games when skins use to be cheap but now I never spend a dime these companies pushed me away and my wallet.

I like to put money into Games!

But the main Gripe for me here is how the Premium Currency is now gated behind extremely specific Challenges on OFFICIAL Maps only. Limited to just 2 of these per day and a handful per week.

CoH2 had a super fair system: Longterm Players always felt rewarded because Mods were supported and there was no Limit per Day.

The last Patch also broke some of the Cosmetics and even though we reported it, nothing will be done. It is not on their To-Do List. I dont get why they treat us this way.

Those who want to pay, should pay. Personally, I wouldn't put a single penny into this CoH, at least not before 4/5 years of constant updates. And to make that possible, some people will have to pay for others.

I really liked CoH2's award system. It really added up over time.

I agree, they could make just as much if not more money if they lowered prices for lots of people would want to get them... we'll they will see if they keep prices where they are not many people are going to buy the sets.

CoH2's reward system didn't exist for the first few *years*.

Both CoH2 and CoH3 have had awful reward systems, because people forget that the pretty solid system CoH2 currently has only came in like 2-3 years after launch, if not even later. IIRC it was at least 2 years later before warspoils came in... and before then, DLC commanders were pay-only.

So, I agree warspoils for CoH2 is a way better system... but it also didn't even exist in the opening couple of years.

Hey man thank you for your level headed input. I do not agree with you fully because I think that companies use names like COH to prop up profits from the fan base. I have a lot of hours in COH2 and love this game, it was my first RTS, I just think that the price points and fact that real money exchange being the only way to get simple reskins is predatory.

This is a fair preception. I like to put money into small developers, but the way they handled this game just feels like they are trying to cash in on the player base. I think about how they just fired a major percentage of their development team and what that might mean for this title moving forward.
