I've done it by making a Tuning Pack. Click on *Attributes* - Select *Camera* - and Clone the following settings: *Default* + *Default_Camera* + *Default_Multiplayer*
Then open *Cam_module_Isometric* - and there you have it: *distance_max* and *distance min*
I found these settings on the web, so it's not myself who deserves the Credits... :)
Have Fun Modding!!
Mind you we only have a small population limit anyway so big maps might not work very well.
No it's an uncomfortably low FOV that's worse than the older games, COH 1 might be an exception but we all had tiny monitors back then..
I use the Camera mod and just 1 or 2 zoom ticks does the trick we're not asking for overwatch over the entire map lol, I think you'd do worse doing that.
You've always had those people who seem oblivious to FOV (more power to you I guess) but any game released this decade should be adjustable and yet CoH3 is a regression.
I win most of my matches it has nothing to do with performance (I don't think a wider FOV would make a meaningful difference anyway, a higher refreshrate would be more significant imo) it's a comfort issue and it applies to all kinds of games, I wouldn't even exclude 2D games to be honest.

No doubt the same crowd who insisted the human eye couldn't see past 30FPS.
People who think it has a meaningful impact on gameplay and therefore should be restricted to minimal levels are out of their mind, if that's the case let's lock everyone to an obtainable 30 FPS and the same resolutions lol.... But even for those kinds of people just make it to where everyone can zoom further out - Boom, balanced.
The restricted FOV is simply an oversight on the part of the devs.
