Personally, I can't stand the visuals. Not just the graphics, but it has the same old, janky animations and movements that the classic games had.

That style is too old school for 2023.

All of these remakes may as well sign their death certificates on release day. People don't want to play them anymore. It's bad enough that the genre itself is nearing extinction.

Aoe4 is not good, its also not bad. Its boring. The options you have compared to the earlier titles are disgusting low.
Ever since SEGA took over Relic has been on a downward spiral of cheap games living off the nostalgia that it once made amazing games that are still played to this day

I liked Aoe 4 but i am not a specialist in the series but to a casual its pretty great! I actually prefer it Aoe 2 at the moment just because it feels a little newer and fresh for me. As for company of heroes 3, i think its great however its still missing some features and its pretty buggy. Once its more complete and stable i think its gonna be fantastic.

Yeah that's just your opinion. The campaign in Aoe4 was very well done and I enjoyed it. The production quality was also pretty good especially with the historical videos. Aoe4 was a collaboration between world's edge and relic anyway, if it was made by just relic than it might have been as poor as Coh3.

HOI4 with anime portrait mods is way classier than AoE4 and CoH3 combined. Still waiting on Italian faction DLCs, and proper balancing for MP.

AoE 4 was not perfekt at release and yes, it gets boring real fast.
The sad thing, CoH3 gets boring as well, blobs in multiplayer, lack of maps and bugsplatt in singleplayer are totaly frustrating.

Well CoH 2 have an in game store even today. Not sure if the abilities are OP because I play SP strictly.
We'll see about this one but Sega loves to milk their franchises with tons of overpriced DLCs so very possible the gameplay might be broken because of OP abilities in the store. The fact this game habe a store again is a bad sign indeed...

Odd I thought AoE IV was pretty good as others here said. The campaigns were fun and I had zero complaints. Who cares about graphics on an rts game lol?

I used to really dislike AOE 4 but I started playing it again a few weeks ago and I enjoy it much more. It's not what I wanted from the series, but I made my peace with it. This game isn't perfect really few games ever are but I feel better about where it is in it's first weeks than I felt about AOE 4.
