Cannot progress in Italian Campaign Prologue (new game-stopping bug)? Confirm?

Italian Campaign Prologue.

After the first battle the game switches to the Campaign map for the first time. 

There, the user can not progress, since the script does not trigger(?), not allowing the player to move the ship from Sicily to the main land. No more instructions (Tutorial messages) are given. 

The camera is stuck (cannot move. Zoom works though). The ship cannot be selected nor moved with the mouse. Basically, the tutorial (instructions) stop at Turn 1.

This is not a 'mouse (DX) issue'. Other mouse commands in-game work.

The player can click on "End Turn" and the Turn will end and progress will be shown (Turn 2). But, the tutorial does not proceed. A warning is given that units have not been moved. So, some part of the code works.

This was not an issue before. I played the tutorial intro several times, since release (1.01, 1.02., 1.03.) I just stumbled over this accidentally, starting a new game (March 5, 4 AM CET).

Can anyone please confirm? WARNING! This will overwrite your campaign save file!!

[If you 'skip Prologue' to get to the start of the campaign map, this bug will not occur]
