m4a1 76mm sherman upgrade worth it or is the E8 worth it?

Currently using the airborne group with the 76mm up gunned sherman m4a1 but is it better to go armor and get the E8?

E8 is locked behind similiar CP as tiger and panther, while not remotely closely as power.
So...stick with 76mmM4A1.

My thoughts exactly on this. Really instead of the e8, the armor doc should get the pershing or bring us back the jackson 90mm again, to help compete.

This game is completely unbalanced. British have 1 strong tank, Black Prince. It's HP and armor are on par with Tigers. Theres only 1 problem, you can summon only 1 black prince PER game. While you can resummon Tigers each time you lose one. What the hell Relic? US on the other hand have no response to heavy tanks.

I'd say the Churchil IV's are better than the Black Prince. Other than you can have multiple IV's on the map for very similar performance the Black Prince moves like a slug and can't even take out a Marder in one shot up it's backside.

But it can take a beating and still has nice gun, probably best of british tanks. IV is just hardy with bad gun. Still you need something to actually damage German tanks. Thats the allies problem. Germans not only have stronger tanks but also both can deploy Flaks.
