COH3 mission Alpha was beautifull, i'm not talking about camera zoom.

COH3 final game is awfull

yes, bring back COH3 mission alpha quality !!!
At least, there were texture !
The sand was too bright and the units were needlessly hard to spot.

Really was better?

Yes way better, too bright but you could fixed it and, for some, camera zoom wasn't perfect, but general graphic quality was way better !

I'd love to see what the Italy maps looked like with the alpha mission lighting. Might be the case that it worked fine, but didn't port over well to the desert maps.

damned if they do, damned if they don't. they had a whole avalanche of complaints about colour saturation so they toned it down and now you want to up the saturation again?

True, it was very bright and probably needed some adjustment, but the teased post mission alpha graphics (pic 2) were perfectly fine. I wonder what happened between then and the release (pic 3) that they downgraded the graphics even further.

Lighting is worse, the visuals lost a lot of depth and feel more flat.
Post Processing effects are worse and without them the cinematic feel of the visuals is gone.
Colors are worse, e.g. the bushes went from a (dark) green to almost yellowish.

Yes, I'd like to see the saturation go up again. Why not just implement a contrast and saturation slider then, to let people customize the visuals to their liking without the use of any external software?

And besides that, we got a full downgrade, not just less color saturation.

I doubt that anyone actually prefers the release visuals over the pre-alpha.

ReShade does a load of good. I use:

-DepthAlpha
-Levels
-LumaSharpen
-reflectiveBumpmapping
-Technicolor
-Tonemap
-Unsharp

There's some weird barely visible graphical smudges here and there, but the graphics are alot sharper and my eyes don't burn out and hurt as they do with the regular graphics.

If that's all it takes, makes ya wonder why the devs didn't built these things in there.

It really wasn't.

I guess there's no way around Re-Shade right now until Relic (hopefully) does some changes to the current lacking graphics.

It could probably be very easy by just implementing different sliders for hue, saturation and contrast, so everyone can customize their visuals to their liking.

Timestamp at 4:28 for the comparison. Graphics look much better and unit readability is also improved by a lot!

Were there 30 minute load times?

The alpha lighting made it hard to tell apart units, most people complained about it in the survey they made and published a devlog about it , that's why they addressed it, now people don't like the new lighting, maybe you guys should've participated in the survey, If you did then maybe the majority of people voted that the alpha lighting wasn't good.

reshade might fix this problem.
