Campaign pop cap too low?
I am playing on veteran difficulty, on turn 26 rn, being stuck at 34/35 pop, here's what I have:
1 South Dakoto
1 Scout plane
1 P47
2 Special Force
1 Airborne
1 UK Atry

I don't know if there's any thing done with the difficulty but being stuck with 4 company and always float in resources is not fun IMO,
I think I should have 80 pops worth of unit if there's isn't a cap for me already.

I can't test out the Detachment because Emplacement cost not only resources, but also population.
I can't test out the Airplanes because they are 3-4 pops which equals 0.5-0.7 company pops.
I can't build more ship because population.
I can't even afford 1-2 more companies because population.

I know it kinda being a soft balance but can we just makes company cost resource to maintain just like the system we are using already in the actual game??
Or maybe in late game I can go up to something like 140 pops? I don't know but it just my feeling on Turn 26.

In total war/ Civ, you can build as many unit as you want as long as you can maintain the salary/maintenance cost so why can't we do it here as well?
Or at least please remove the population cost for Emplacement, and lowing the airplane and ship pop cost so they can have a chance to shine.
Or maybe let us mod the scenario so we can have a 'sandbox-ish' campaign setting?

Yea the campaign needs a higher pop cap for sure, the planes and ships are handy, but really all you need is companies. You can mostly just ignore the emplacements, the fact that it takes an entire turn to destroy them is nonsense. I have just been mostly running by them and then just fully healing the company.

Honestly the campaign is amusing but it feels completely unplaytested.

Yes it does feel really bad, Both the player and the enemy need more companies on the map. Battles were fought in terms of divisions not companies... the scale is way, way, way off. Not sure why they felt they needed to hamstring it so badly.
