Which campaign to play first?

So which campaign do you should play first? Africa or Italy?

Doesn't really matter.

The Italy campaign has a Total War style strategy map to move around which is an interesting addition.

The Africa campaign is closer to the previous CoH campaigns.

I think the game assumes you'll play the italy campaign first, and to be honest, that feels like the better campaign. I'd go with that.

Doesnt matter. I played Africa campaign and it was really short (just about 6 missions). It felt kinda little bit more like Tales of Valor from CoH1.

Now playing Italy campaign and its kinda meh.

Historically speaking, it makes a lot more sense to play the N. Africa campaign first. It also teaches you some of the mechanics.

Thank you all for your answers! I went with the africa one first, because of the reason Big Slim mentioned, it was historically before the Italy campaign!
