Player numbers are low

They are worse than launch on Age of Empires 4. With rare exceptions starting player numbers is usually the all time peak.

So what do you think happens when Sega sees that some RTS of Relic are performing better than others.

That's what I was saying on another thread, the initial sales are way lower than original CoH2 and maybe DoW3.. this looks bad

It is all the fault of the player base! It should have been more positive about the game, then everything would have been fine.

can't blame the player base tbh. they have the right to have their complaints heard. you have to pick and choose your battles. Perhaps it would of been better to delay the game a bit more and address some of the player issues before launching it.

Well its a Friday morning.. there are people that have to work or go to school, if there should be a peak i think its today or this weekend to tell decent numbers

i dont know, numbers seem normal....as RTS isnt that big of genre nowdays anyways ...and americans are now going to sleep and europeans are waking up

The Steam store was actually working when CoH2 launched though.
Just looking at SteamDB, CoH3 peak players yesterday was 34,899. CoH2 peak on release was 21,244, so the indication would be that initial sales are higher.

Still is very close to the same launch number sales of DoW3 and they still pulled support because of all the backlash.
