How do i change texture detail ?

I can't stand this worse than PS2 era graphic for unit model so i went to setting , everything can be changed except for texture quality which is grey out . How do i enable that ?

I find unit textures etc are ok, but the environment and map look... bad.

yes, its like the texture settings only affects units and SOME buildings. Rest is just blurry mess

-go to line 28
-change variantUInt=1 to 0
-safe
now you can set textures to ultra

Btw , if you change to 0 , some of you will experience a very laggy Italy world map , it is better to set to 1 ( which is High btw ) .

Can someone help me I can't get this to work, I been opening the file with notepad...what do u mean editor? Btw I'll just point out the truth the game looks bad cause the stupid whiny sh*t people in the community said they game looked bad before(idiots) so to appease the a holes Relic took out their bloom affects and changed their lighting too something that wasn't intended and now it really looks bad. waah it's too bright and looks amazing and beautiful crybaby crybaby...... The waahh we got what we demanded and deserve it's dull and looks bad waaaahhh.....
well that's what y'all wanted..... I played the beta How it was intended It was beautiful, looked so good , the even the shadows popped and the amazing lighting really brought out the hills and difference in elevation it was beautiful. Every time relic listens to the idiots of the vocal and toxic "community" the games get ruined and dumbed down really sux not relics fault community fault .
