German Voice Lines

Is this for real? Germans speaking english with strange accent?
I'm german myself and started with Rommel campaign. But he sounds like an 30yr Schwarzenegger in the 1970s on steroid.

Is there no way to make native voice lines for each faction? German = deutsch, US=english, Italians=italian? only with subtitles in chosen language.

Yeah this kind of... lightly put me off, Same for the italian units. Its weird.

Really? Do you have to enable them in the settings or something? I've never heard them before. Other than little bits that I wouldn't count, like "Was wunschen Sie? What do you want?"

the old games had german voice in the game, so i will not buy it for now if they won´t implement it again. It´s steps backwards otherwise....

for the english version maybe. but the last two games had localised voice lines.
so for you nothing changed, for german the vibe is gone

For real, just started the Afrika Operation and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell. Its so bad. English mixed with a few German words, its kinda cringe

The bad thing about this was the fact that if you set CoH2 to german, all factions started speaking german. Even the US + Soviets... which also wasn't really a solution.

I don't mind the mix, as it's always been like that. Not to mention that most units sounded way more aggressive in the English+German mix than in German on it's own.

Having the option for every nation speaking in their native language would have been really great in general, tho. Even as an extra DLC with customizable options.
