Love to see a development team taking on the community feedback and improving the game-play in practical ways. I hope their hard work gets the recognition it deserves.

Looking forward to seeing whats to come in the full release. I'm dying to see whats behind that 'dam' wall.

I think the fast travel shouldn't have limited uses(or just the one), maybe give it a cost or something. Idk you could have it to where you pay the merchant to pick you up and take ya home. I just know now that the mechanic to fast travel back home exists I going to use it once to head home or something and go back out and want to use it again. Maybe im demanding too much, just wanted to give my thoughts on that though. Hoping this game gets really good after many updates

You turned a mech into a car, purely defeating the purpose of using a mech, couldn't have given it high manoeuvrability mode upgrade or something. Maybe even Running legs that are digitigrade or something? Also didn't fix the number one issue of making watering easier, especially at later game. Cool i have more time so i can now spend the same amount of time watering and have half a day left instead of just a 1/3 once im done.:stella_sad:

They DONT SEEM to respond a lot on Discord (respond to questions). The game IS crashing a lot-especially ever since this new update, (bugs have been reported). Have not played any game that crashed as much as this one-And its heartbreaking because I want to "Like it" but I can't. And just a side note-How in the world is there no threat of any sort? You have absolutely everything for a perfectly balanced "survival-like" game but instead-this is just a "farming game".

We try to respond to as many questions as possible on Discord, I am very sorry if your questions have been missed there. Do you still get crashes as often as before with this new update? We did release some optimization fixes to improve performance.

Anyone else not seem to actually get the ranching update? Like i even started over and i cant find anything indicating how the taming or anything like that works.

One of the Qs from the Neighbor and Animals release update FAQ answers this best:

Q: How do I access this content?
A: Contents of the Neighbors and Animals Update can be accessed a few hours into the game if you start with a fresh save file or if you are a new exofarmer playing for the first time. If you want to continue from a previous file, one of the neighbors are accessed by gathering copper and waiting until the next day (Ulf) and the other one by gathering an abandoned egg in any restored region except for Meadows, Pine Heights & Edge Cliffs. You must restore at least 3 regions prior and wait a day (Diane) .

Happy to hear you're interested in the game! We currently don't have any combat in the game.

We hope to be a bit more active and open with the development during 2025 so my advice if you're curious to see what direction the development is going up until 1.0 is to just keep an eye here on Steam but also on our socials as we tend to tease things we experiment with there from time to time!

I'd say there's already enemies, namely the pollution; but I may be mistaken.

Well for not having combat there's plenty of mess to clean up...and I swear the noxious ooze events have it out for me...

To that effect I wouldn't mind seeing a difficulty setting for either master toggle for events, or a slider to control their frequency. Just consider it an idea from a player who has a bit of knowledge in real world events similar to the game (notably, without the fancy mech suit)

Also something else you could consider for future additions would be some kind of food requirement for the exofarmer themself; probably more taking the form of a boost than an actual requirement (e.g. Well Fed = more productive/quicker speed/etc)
