I know about the headlights, but light is not the issue. It is time you have per day. Cause even with headlights on day ends after a certain while when you stay up all night.
And yeah, I wrote that I have seen the wheels above. But they are way deep in the tech tree so nothing for early or mid game where you have most struggles exploring the regions.
It is still very short.
Many farming games let you modify the time so players can choose if they want slow days or fast days. Something in the range of -/+ 50%.
This would have to be addressed somehow. Maybe there could be extra resource nodes that only refresh when animals are fed, which a longer day would provide more time for.
Most games fix all this with toggles for everything to customize the game. This may be where they end up going with it.
I support this. It would be a nice improvement.
Well sure it cycles resources, but if you don't have the time to harvest them anyways there is no point of them respawning.
Can increase that with feeding wild animals anyways, so if you need something you can work towards it.
Longer days just means you have less stress and can enjoy the game and the very nice scenery.
The best way to avoid this feeling is to keep finding those nodes full when you reach them. People sometimes complain when a survival game is so generous it becomes boring. Well, this isn't a survival game. It's a casual farming game. That generosity is what we want. If it feels like it's coming in exchange for feeding the land, so much the better.
It is something we have thought about but not been able to test fully yet! It's good to hear all your thoughts about this! ^^
