Hey there! Not every part of progression has a mission associated with it. If you haven't unlocked anything new in a while, there are a few things you can to do try to progress:

1. Craft at least one of every item available to you.
Picking a crafted item up for the first time usually unlocks something new (Stone Dust is commonly overlooked, so try that one if you haven't already)

2. Explore for new resources.
If you open up the map, you can see a list of how the resources you can discover in a region. If there's a "???" entry on the list, there's probably something left to find.

3. Restore a new region.
Restoring a region will unlock new resources for you to find. Some regions require tool upgrades in order to deal with their weeds and slimes, so make sure you have those as well (and if you haven't found the resource needed for an upgrade, consider step 1 and 2 again)

I hope that helps!

Wandered the entire map and didn't realize you could suck up the weeds in that zone because they look identical to the weeds in all the other zones that you can't. Honestly thought recipe unlocks were bugged.
That was the only reason I realized that we didn't need the vacuum upgrade. The harder weeds were giving the message that an upgrade was required while the weeds in the Edge Cliff just said a vacuum was required, not an upgrade.

So... Just to confirm, I believe I'm at the end of the current build content, as far as what the EA version has completed:
1. Springs and coilvine plants (required for final mech upgrades) are not available in the current build?
2. The pitcher plants and ... gravel-fern(?) plants found in the last revitalisable zones are re-plantable but don't currently have any function?

Coilvine is found in the last zone that's currently accessible, and will lead you to springs and other upgrades.

Pitcher Plants are essentially movable water sources. If you have a larger farm setup, you can plant them between your fields so you don't have to keep running back for water.

Since making the previous post, I had successfully gotten through the Vault, and reached the real (current) end of content, but the explanation of Pitcher Plants is certainly helpful.

...Anyone figure out what the Gravel Gourds are for? From the name, one might assume it's a source for stone... but there's no shortage of that around.
