Mod anti-weight?
Another game with the fricking stupid weight inventory system. Do u know of any mod to remove it or, at least, to change it to max inventory slots instead of weight?

It's best to uninstall and go back to fortnite. Weight based inventory has existed for 20+ years.

yeah, and that proves my point that it's outdated and a terrible poor system. There's no game that becomes tedious as hell when u get overencumbered after just taking a few stones or woods. Ofc there has to be a carry limit but it's a much user-friendly system to put a determined number of slots in inventory so u don't have to go back and forth like 40 times to pick stones just to build anything.

And don't embarass yourself with crappy comments like "go back to fornite". I've probably played way more survival/crafting/management games that u will ever do and weight system in these kind of games makes do nothing but put the players away from the game.

Do u want a weight limit? RPG is your way to go.

It's funny because I've never been bothered with weight/encumbrance in games. You either adapt to it or make a post crying about it on Steam lol. Don't get me wrong yeah it can be a pain but not enough to whine about it. To each their own.

I get weight being a problem for your character but for a box on the floor is just silly and as low as it is I'm on clearing the second area and have over 14 boxes, The game is start to devolve into a which box did I store that into simulator.
On a plus note the Dev's have said that they will be making the limit bigger so this may help you in the future.
The other posters above I take are kids nonconstructive post with the get better or so on BS perhaps it would be a good idea to learn restrain and post only when you have helpful advice or information to impart.

Weight limitations make only sense, if you are aiming for a realistic approach in a game, which LF is definitely NOT. A Weight-System is only good, if you want to offer a challenge to the player, where you could farm way too much and progress way too fast (which is also no the case here, material harvest rates are pretty low). Minecraft has a great middle ground offering to it - no weight, stack size limit per slot (which can be expanded vanilla-way or even modded). Here, you have 225 wood and already filling up an entire barrel (180 weight limit), which is really not convenient at all. It results into having 20-30 barrels without labeling sitting in your base and you have no clue what has been stored where (especially annoying and time consuming in multiplayer sessions, just because that one storage container was out of reach and you weren't able to craft copper related items).

On the other hand, if you can compromise about not sprinting and jumping, you can carry everything in your inventory, be it a value of 5000 or even more. Your inventory has no weight cap, just some minor limitations about mobility. This itself makes no real sense either.

If you could carry all your stuff on your mech all the time with no downsides, you would never have any reason to build storage containers at all. As it is, the movement restrictions provide just enough friction to make storage worthwhile without being obtuse. Even tearing down your entire operation and moving somewhere else remains a straightforward process.

WeMod has an option that you can set the weight to whatever you like for the mech.
