beat the game in 20 hours
A friend and I played together, I focused on the farm, he focused on exploration. After 20 hours there is nothing else to do.

We unlocked everything - every achievement, artifact, cosmetic etc. Got 50 Glo trees in my backyard. Got 150000 in-game dollars and nothing to spend money on.

So it's 1 real-life dollar per hour of gameplay with someone, or 0.5 if solo.

I know it's early access, but there are other early-access games of similar genre that offer hundreds of hours of gameplay where you are progressing towards some sort of objective.

Any ideas?

I don't feel like every game needs to be some sort of hundred hour content grind. I thought it was pretty refreshing how quickly along you can go. Sort of a farming game lite.

If I or anyone wanted the hundred hour experience, like you said, there are other games for that and which do it very well. We should be playing those games for those experiences and leave this game to be what it is.

I just don't feel I got the hours of meaningful gameplay I paid for is all.

For the sale price, I would say that is great.

But wait! There's more....

The game can be rushed or you can take your own time and relax to get more enjoyment. You can have several saves and you can start a new save any time you want to.

Still... There's more...

More will be opened and added soon. It's early access and there are more sections of the map to be opened along with more recipes and... More items and upgrades!

Wait for it....

Every time I keep telling myself that I´m not gone buy early access game anymore until they are finished but boredom always wins.

I know there is top left section of the map unexplored. but let's be honest, that's probably like a couple of hours of additional gameplay.
this game needs an incentive for you to build massive farms and raise as much crop as you can, praying for it to rain because there is too much to water. I want to earn millions of dollars and spend them on something meaningful, maybe a new upgrade tree that only uses money. Just give me a reason to build square kilometers of farms

See? That is probably what you should have opened with and I agree with this.

I don't care if people agree with me or not. I just want more content in the game I like.

I say each tier should take at least 10-20 hours.
I discovered blue and yellow crystals at the same time and was able to use both. They are different tiers too. Harvesting them two times was enough to unlock everything they are used for. Didn't even need to feed any critters at all, they just respawn on their own.

Unlocks need to be more challenging.

My point was not to hit your tinder spot...

My point was that it would have gotten the devs to listen more to that rather than the op. Have a good day any way. I'm moving on to people that can have a conversation without taking everything personal.

Play Satisfactory then.

600 hours already, but there is no farming in it.

People rush through a game and blame the game for not having enough/getting boring quickly ><
The Royal Pain Mar 22, 2024 @ 7:27pm
I can see the reasoning behind the grievance, but honestly with it being an Early Access game I'm totally willing to shrug and drop the money. Even with access to Game Pass I still want to throw them the cash since the experience so far has been so relaxing and I think it deserves the 'skip ordering pizza for a night' total.

Plus the claims that it'll be expanded much more, I'm interested to see how that pans out with us already having a comfy experience as it is.
