Color flowers dying?

All my Color flowers keep turning gray after 1 or 2 harvests, are they dead? If so, why? Everything else only dies cause I tear it out of the ground.

I think it's like the rest of the plants, get one fruit and one seed, then repeat. Only with the color flowers you get two fruits, chop it down for one seed, then repeat.

there is a chance a flower will die after harvesting it. it's not 100%

You say you can harvest the color flowers without cutting them??? How... I'm cutting them all the time... and then replant and wait till they regrow.

Use your vacuum. It will suck the flower off the plant.

Yeah. Wait till they’re dead to chop them down. That’s when you know it’s done and you’ll still get the seed.

I had no idea you can chop down the flower for a seed to regrow it. I was facing the same issue that all the wild color flowers were no longer regrowing. I didn't went too hard on the paint but this will probably save me a lot of trouble. Thank you!

Glo fruit trees die and its really sad. My first two were in the PERFECT aesthetic positions. Both have died in the last 12hrs irl lol sad

In fact, this is the only way you can get the flowers that spawn inside of caves that can't fit your mech.
