Yeah Sorry forgot that one. I am using a NH-U12A
Limiting FPS didn't help
At first its important to mention that Ryzen CPUs tend to have high running temperatures. My 7950x always runs around ~80 C° and thats fine for me. Its overclocked and watercooled but i know thats not the problem.
The problem is the 4090 that really heats up my system. The solution was to limit the FPS in newer games.
As you already mentioned your temperature dosn't change "at all" by lowering the graphical settings i suggest investing in a better CPU cooling.
Anyways you should also read about your CPU. As the Ryzen 7 5800X3D has a maximum OPERATING temperatur of 90 C° you must have either changed something in the BIOS/UEFI or deactivated heat inducted shutdown. This CPU normally should shut down your PC if it gets beyond 90 C°.
I have read about my CPU and know that it can reach these Temps. It is why I bought the bigger cooler. The Problem is that it settles at these high temperatures. Which it does not do in any other Games, exept for short spikes.
I did not change any BIOS/UEFI settings, as I don't know how to. I only updated the BIOS when I got the 5800X3D.
Than you for your Comment, I will look into getting a better Cooler.
