other than that really enjoying the demo and looking forward to full release.
I assume it's because while I've played farming games.. I've never played a mech game before. I'm familiar with them because my family plays them but I don't know the controls. I don't know if I missed it in the tutorial.. or if it's not in there because everyone figured that was too basic. I'm stuck... and sad.
- Very much hoping there are more resources planned. Felt very lackluster in the demo.
- Mech falling over was funny the first time, then it got super annoying every time after.
- I dont mind having to upgrade mech storage capacities, but the storage box weight capacities are dumb. Less slots would be fine, but if you put like 50 of anything in a chest, it's full. Why? It's sitting on the ground.
- The map feels very small, even with what was blocked off.
- Is there a craftable well? As soon as i realized how often I would need water I wanted to build immediately next to a water source instead of where the game starts you.
Con #1 QOL when you press E to open up a processing machine or storage box/crate etc would like it to use E to exit out, instead of having to move fingers to another key.
Con #2 I'm not really liking the weight limit on the storage box's/crate's, depending on what you have in the box/crate you can only hold so much of a heavy item in it, seems like a waste of space, and you have to have loads of box's/crates all over. Unless it's already planned for more weight upgrades later on, that isn't already in the demo.
Edit: Tbh, the weight limit on the storage box/crate's is not good, should be capacity based with capacity upgrades, another user mentioned that it's silly to have a weight limit on crate when it's on the ground, fully agree.
You can swap tools with the mouse scroll wheel, if your mouse doesn't have a scroll wheel you can hold down Q on the kb to open the tool radial and you can also change seeds in the tool radial too.
Edit: And you can use 1, 2, 3, 4 etc to change tools too.
2. It seems like when the mech drops items, that it drops them right in front of the mech, making it really easy to pick them up again accidentally. I'd recommend making the mech automatically drop items behind it, or adding a several-second window after dropping an item where it can't be automatically picked up again.

This is definitely a MUST if you're going to have the storage system as it is with weight. Having containers scattered to the windows with 3 of this, 14 of that, and 40 of another is just not going to work, lol.
You have heard most of my notes -- better storage situation - slots v/s weights, crafting straight into chests, more capacity on the mech, and crafting from the chests -- pleeeeeeease.
What I haven't seen so far are these...
Autosave - after several sudden crashes (could be my PC and not the game), I was sorely wishing I didn't have to start this game day allllll over. I was having a great day, and I had gotten a ton of stuff done. But nope, it was midday or later, and I have lost everything from today.
Adjust Day Speed - I feel like I barely get anything at all done, and it's already evening. Some may be fine with this pacing, but I would love it to be about 50% slower to fit the relaxed vibe. Please give us the option to slow things down.
Ability to move items - I built my crafters inside those sheds, and now I have a barn. I would love to move them inside the barn -- and even then, I would love to reposition them so my mech can easily get behind each machine to collect.
I enjoy the controls of the mech and your focus on making the mech the main core of the gameplay.
The music, sfx, graphics and ambience are spot on for my taste.
Rather than "magic chests" as a solution to crafting from storage - what about a special chest that can be mounted on the mech and swapped out for another? Players could then have different storage chests for different activities, full of whatever they need.
Please don't add combat. There are enough mech games that tick that box - I love the idea of using a mech for labour and relaxing from the cockpit.
Heading into EA, I'd like to see some fostering of emergent gameplay that will keep the endgame running. Items, blueprints and mechanics that players can have fun combining.
Of course, we've only seen the demo and I'm sure you have much more in the full game.
This seems quite rare, but I have 3 sets of 8 plots, one for each type of crop.
Every so often, instead of getting 72 of each crop and seed, I'll only get 71. I've checked and rechecked, there are no left over crops sitting on the ground waiting to be picked up, they seem to just simply vanish.

Bug. While out of the mech and with the pick selected, If you hold right-click while entering your mech, the sound and graphic stay until you exit the mech.
