Dedicated server
Will there be dedicated server?
Would love not to force other players to wait on a host to play.

Just popping in to say that we hear you loud and clear on this matter! However, we have no current plans for dedicated servers. It's a big ol' task to tackle with our current multiplayer setup, and right now, we're putting all of our efforts on squaring away any bugs and rustling up some new features instead.

Feel free to join our Discord server where we have a channel dedicated for players looking for others to play with!

Thank you for your understanding!

Our current multiplayer setup is focused on player hosting at this time; if we receive enough feedback seeking dedicated servers, we can reassess from there!

Honestly dedicated servers. Forcing host to be online is archaic design today.

Dedicated Servers as a Option are great. Palworld did it like that just now allowing Playerhosted OR serverhosted options.

i got a lot of friends in all timezones from Sydney to california and anything inbetween. on our Palworld server there is a constant comming and going as people go to bed or come home from work. not having a Server option, from my experience with my lads, usually ends with a weekend of coop, followed by a week of solo play before we drop the game one by one. thats how it happend with other games like satisfactory in our Circle.

Makes it frustrating when one person isn't online or gets bored with the game and you no longer have your co-op world.

I agree 100%. Many games I don't bother buying, I would have otherwise, because no dedicated server. I just move on to games that do. Too many similar games that are worth it because of dedicated. Like now I am enjoying Enshrouded running dedicated server! Next Nightingale and Palworld. Games with no DS will just fall to the way side.

Adding in Dedicated is an option that me and my buddies love. When I get time, I will try out the demo. Always up for a new game to explore thats non-single player.

thats true for me too, we are a couple of people that hop on hop off, games that doesnt support own server doesnt get played, its as easy as that.

but its odd that you mentioned Satisfactory that DO have a dedicated server :)
