Black screen after update 27th January

Hello there, before the update on 27 January, the game worked without any problems. However, after the update, whenever I try to play, the game logo appears on the screen and then it turns completely black. I can see the game cursor, but the menu doesnt load. It doesnt crash, just freezes.

which looks quite suspicious for me but I have no idea what's going on so I prefer to leave this matter in expert hands. Thanks in advance.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you encountered such an issue. Does this black screen disappear after waiting for some time or does the game just stop and doesn't load anything else? You can also try and see its resource usage in the Task Manager when you start up FTK2

Hi, If I wait for some time the game crashes (it stoped responding) but then if I click on 'Wait' instead of 'Close FTK2', it suddenly loads the intro after waiting 10 minutes or so. I think the skippable intro is lagging the loading of the game.

Thanks for investigating this issue further. It seems like when you startup FTK2 your hard drive is at its maximum performance, so I don't think we can currently do anything about it unfortunately. I have forwarded this issue to the QA team so they can investigate it further.
