Long story short, although not for a long while now, my Joystick and Throttle controller software (CH Control Manager) for my flight sims has in the past caused issues with a couple of other games. When I saw my player.log ended just before [InputController.ReleaseDisable], I decided to disable the program and sure enough that seemed to be the issue. Was able to load up the game right away with no issues after that. Hope this helps if anyone else runs into this issue.
tho i end with a black screen and the mouse for like 5 to 10 seconds and the crashes again.
