Lost save.
I was playing the game and at one point it simply crashed at the beginning of a new run, after already 2 hours of active play. I was a little upset and came back only in the evening. And then it turned out that my save was lost and all the settings were reset, which is why I lost 17 hours of gameplay.

I'm deeply sorry to hear you lost your save file. Could it be it didn't sync properly the first time? Could you please restart Steam on your main machine and see if that syncs the Steam Cloud?

Steam Cloud synchronized. The only thing I can notice is that when checking the files, one turned out to be broken. I started over again. I hope I don't lose my save again.

Hello ! I have exactly the same problem as the person above. I lost all my progression between november 5th and november 6th. I stopped playing around 1 am (Korea time ) and when I tried to play today everything was empty like I never played before. Glad to see someone else has the same problem. I sent a file bug report maybe it might help. I also have the same amount of played time as the person above. I also checked the files and had one corrupted files. Hope there is a way to retrieve it !

If the game sometimes crashes or does not transfer progress normally and freezes, then disabling the “Allow data exchange” function helps. It was after disabling this function that most of the problems disappeared. My friends and I also found out that the save is lost if there is any unplanned shutdown of the game/computer during a run. Cloud saves don't help at all.
