This game cooks my GPU
Minimum specs is a 960 and recommended is a 2060 Super.
I have a 1070, running all low and even changed my Nvidia settings to make it have as low of settings as possible, yet this game still absolutely bakes my GPU where as no other game comes close even with higher requirements.

It's worst is when there are ground effects in battle and when you get mages that can do 6 tiles worth of effects it gets pretty bad. Hopefully something that can be looked at. Seems like an optimization issue. Also the game has a memory leak, but that's probably been said too.

Was talking to a friend last night and one of the things I suggested because I was curious on their opinion on graphics was for them to turn off the Bloom and Depth of Field, just for aesthetics sake.

Their take was they didn't really notice much change BUT they did make a comment that their power usage did go down by about 50% from something like 300W to around 150W.

Might be a thing to try if you haven't already.

I know during the beta just being on the starting screen my GPU was pushing 80% usage and between turning those off and making sure that the game was Vsyncing (tho my monitor is only 60hz so ymmv if you're running 120hz+). My GPU is only hitting between 33-40%

Quality: Custom
Texture: Dream
ShadowQ: High
AA: SMAA
Bloom: Off
Fog: On
AmbientOc: On
DepthofField: Off
Vignette:On

In case that helps at all

The issue is, is I have all the extra settings off and graphics/shadows on low and it still cooks my GPU. I can't imagine turning settings up will help, but I've seen stranger things before (Looking at you Risk of Rain 2; with turning up graphics gave me higher FPS). Can't hurt to try it. Thank you for the response.

Hey there,
I am sorry to hear you encountered such an issue. I forwarded it to our devs so they take a look why this happens.
