Cure - Understanding what it does and does not cure

Tooltip, what tooltip? I'd say it's bad, but it doesn't even exist!

Afaik it cures everything Panax does. That is bleed, poison, disease and "all elemental effects...?" but you probably guessed that seeing as how panax has a tooltip and all. It does not remove curses (you need hag's bane or purification for that). It does, however, remove Entangle, which, is just HUH?? Like, 'Entangle' does not read as something that can be "cured."

Ah! I see you've been wrapped up by a snake. Hmhmhm, well, let me use my knowledge of medicine to get that off you...

Spider's web? Not a problem, no problem at all for you see I can CURE that...

I am a learned physician and as such I know just how to counteract the vines a druid or witch animated to turn against you

And, yeah, it's an intelligence roll and found on magic items like staves and tomes, but c'mon... You don't need magic to burn or cut away vines or spider web, or even pull a snake off someone.

EDIT: panax also cures elemental effects, such as burning, freeze, shock, and I guess wet? idk if I'm missing any. Anyway, I haven't tested, but I would think Cure removes those as well

Open the ingame wiki, search the keyword "cure": removes all ailments
Search ailment: You´ll see there what is an ailment and what isn´t an ailment...

To complain that the game does not explain things and then complain that there is an in game encyclopedia is quite the take.

and yet you'd be surprised how many people were confused about cure in the first game and are still confused to this day
