Identify Scroll

Unable to use identify scrolls on the unknown question marks like I used to be able to when the game released. It's no longer even usable so what am I missing here?

You sure you don't mean the vision scrolls?

The identify scrolls are to identify mimics/chests.

I think in ftk1 they could be used to identify unknown events on the map, but I never have tried them for that in 2.

The in-game text states, "Reveals the identity of any unknown landmark. Can also be used to identify mimics." When the game first came out, I was able to use them as the description described.

I honestly have no idea how you can see a landmark but not know what it is ... And if you don't see anything you need the vision scroll. *shrug*
I know the desciption was there in FtK1 at least, but I only used it for chests. Sorry.

Sometimes the landmark is a question mark, that is what they are used for.

Sometimes the landmark is a question mark, that is what they are used for.

But how am I supposed to use them? They aren't on the item bar for the character and when I click on them to use them for the inventory, the use button is greyed out.

They are pretty useless rn as far as I know the identify scrolls can only be used for when you find a chest in battle
(P.S I really hope they change this so that when you use the ID scroll you start first if it is a mimic and choose to fight it when revealing it because at the moment it does nothing but tell you if it is a mimic)

The vision scroll you click it in your inventory then your get a grid and you can place it where you want in world map.
