+ In the middle of a turn, you can do Esc, Save and Exit, then Campaign, Continue.
It takes ~30 seconds for each save/load cycle.
* You can't do this during any unfinished transaction, like ambush, combat, or dialogue.
+ Roughly speaking, whenever you can click Inventory and transfer gear, you can also save.
- Whenever Inventory is disabled, so is Save and Exit.
This is sporadically useful if you swap 20 gear items at start of turn, move 3 hexes,
swap more items to prepare for combat, and then the dog barks at the cat in the sink,
and you don't own a cat.
