HP Regen Question
Is HP regen only applying at end of turn in the overworld and not also in combat?

I didn't play the first game too much, but I seem to remember the regen applying in and out of combat for that game.

I'm really just here looking for confirmation that not getting hp regen during combat in second game is how it was intended to be. I don't have an issue with it. Not seeing this specific thing mentioned anywhere was messing with my head.

I see the same thing.

+ In FtK I, HP Regen activated at the end of every dungeon step.
Cave, non-combat step ahead, everybody switch to their spare +HP and Passive gear :steamhappy:
Your party could rake in +15 HP across 3 heroes, +2 Focus, and 0-1 herb, per step.

- In FtK II, HP Regen no longer procs after dungeon steps. Don't even bother switching.
+ Passives still proc normally per dungeon step: Refocus, Find Herb, Find Scroll.
So you can still switch to all of your items with those passives, or wear them all the time.

If the next step is a Trap skill test,
first click Inventory in the lower-right and switch your gear back before you disarm it.
Disarming a trap auto-advances you to the next step, which could be a fight.

I believe that HP regen also applies at the end/transition of dungeon combat.

It doesn't apply during active combat rounds tho it would be awesome if it did.

HP regen doesn't naturally occur in combat. You'll be able to heal with party heal/godsbeard, and left over action points will add to your regen on the overworld.

I see now. The change from the first game made me think something wasn't right. Thank you all for the quick clarification.
