Honestly, I've been playing quite a bit, completed 4 multiplayer chapters and failed one for 5 total playthroughs.
So far, bugs have been pretty rare, soft-locks have happened 2-3 times, desync issues a couple of times as well.
Considering my playtime it's not all that bad.
I see the devs are pumping out patches as well to address issues so honestly even if you picked up playing right now you'd not have many issues.
apart from one crash in a dungeon, easily restarted.
No desyncs, though using same internet connection, which might help.
I take that back there was a session that lasted for several hours and some ways into it the game did get laggy not network laggy but memory leak laggy. It had bloated to like ~6gb of RAM and did a bit of hitching for a second after loading every encounters. I want to say that was right at or around launch so several patches ago, not sure if that's even an issue anymore.
Having sufficiently jinxed myself, I'm sure I'm going to run into something but so far its been pretty darn stable launch on my end. Better than a lot of AAA games at least.
Been playing on and off since launch, with about three games going. Two games we had were bug-free.
The third has hit three bugs, but the player who joined us for that one has a slow PC and internet.
I'd say multiplayer is a safe bet, most people who complain about it complain about the difficulty, so remember this, it's a rogue game, you are supposed to die over and over again till you get enough experience/know what to do, in order to win. that is how roguelite games work
Honestly I can't play this outside of multiplayer.
And I'm normally prefer soloing in other games.
Some tasks in this game just gets tedius to micromanage with 4 characters, like inv management etc.
You can opt to play with less, but imo the game don't scale well.
