They're somewhat rare and seem worse than Bows. Their saving grace is being one-handed, but backliners don't usually need shields. Maybe if FTK2 had some form of dual-wielding implemented they'd be more useful.
Speaking of I actually have no idea what the criteria for unlocking stuff seems to be in most cases, I've seen posts by people saying there are 2 starter shock weapons you can unlock but I'm on ch5 and nope. Also I'd really like to see this summoning book before it gets nerfed, so far no dice on that. ( I think I have 58 hours played atm).
re-introducing busker and minstrel and a whole slew of talent-based weaponry/instruments.
According to a dev's post somewhere there will only be a single bard class. But yeah, they need musical instruments.
FTK2 could've been a great opportunity for them to really add a lot of depth to the game and show that they're a dev team that can really put out something amazing. Adding the back row is a nice example of new depth for the game, but I feel like they should've done so much more. Still feels very bare bones imho.
I don't know what games you're playing, but the vast majority of strategy and tactical games I've played have loads more abilities and significantly more depth to their combat and gameplay than FtK.
That's the RPG. Strategy games I've played have been about whole armies, not individual characters. Guess apart from FtK we've played totally different games.
Anyway, looking forward to Chakram weapons! I have just unlocked them and not played since then.
